The MTSBC exists to support the mission of the local church in making disciples and one of the most valuable tools utilized by the MTSBC to encourage, exhort and equip pastors for their calling is MPact Montana. At MPact, pastors will experience quality training that has been contextualized for Montana. The Theme of MPact 2019 is Leadership. Every church must develop a leadership culture that naturally grows leaders for every area of ministry through their discipleship process. The MTSBC has partnered with proven leaders such as Dr. Ed Litton from Redemption Church in Mobile, AL to share his wisdom and insight into leadership. The General Sessions and Breakouts are intentionally designed to give practical solutions to the leadership challenges of the local church from a biblical foundation. They include: Leading Change, Helping Leaders Become a Team, Developing Your Leadership Skills, Improving Worship, & Breaking Barriers.
There are also specialized topics that are culturally relevant such as Suicide Prevention, Public Policy, and Protecting Your Church. There are sessions on engaging your community with the Gospel such as GO Montana, VBS Training, and Evangelism Training. MPact will also include a New Pastor Orientation and a Pastor Wives breakout.
One of the greatest benefits of MPact Montana is the connection and fellowship with other pastors. The MTSBC recognizes the value of these relationships and makes a significant investment in this event to attract pastors and their families. Each Pastor will receive two free night’s stay.
