Get Real West is just a week away. I hope you’re planning to join us at Crosspoint Community Church in Missoula. We’ll gather together with students from across Montana on November 12-13 for a great time of worship, hearing God’s word, fellowship, and games.
The Christian band Becoming Bristol will be leading worship. They did a fantastic job at get Real East. I love the energy and witness of these men. Your students will be moved by their powerful music and Bible-infused lyrics. Their pop rock style is perfect for creating passionate and energetic worship sets your students will love.
We’re also welcoming back Matt Lawson. Dozens of students made decisions for Christ the last time Matt was with us. Matt is the founding pastor of Story City Church in Los Angeles, a church with two campuses in the heart of the entertainment industry, where he pastored actors, producers, musicians, entrepreneurs and creative leaders. Matt is known for creating environments where communities are served and people far from God are free to explore faith in Jesus. Prior to planting Story City Church, Matt served in student ministry for 14 years seeing thousands place their faith in Christ, hundreds sent overseas on short term missions, and many giving one year of their life after graduation to an overseas ministry context.
We’re also blessed to have our very own Dave Carroll with us to host the meeting. Everyone who remembers Dave knows that he’s great with students. He’ll keep them focused and ready to hear from God through worship and the word.
In addition to four powerful worship sessions, four impactful teaching times and the kind of fellowship and relationship building only a retreat can offer students, GRW offers a training time for youth workers, parents, and pastors.
