Dr. Jeff Iorg was elected the eighth President and CEO of the SBC Executive Committee in March 2024.

His previous service included 20 years as president of Gateway Seminary. While in that role, the seminary moved to a new campus in Southern California and significantly expanded its global impact—including starting innovative programs and expanding the endowment by more than $50 million.

Before his tenure at Gateway Seminary, Iorg held various roles that shaped his career as well as the communities he served.

Ann Iorg is the wife of Jeff Iorg, President of the SBC Executive Committee. They have been married for more than 40 years and have three grown children and five grandchildren. In addition to being a supportive wife and mother, Ann has also served as a preschool director and teacher at various churches for more than 40 years. She also enjoys being a hostess and teaching women—especially ministry wives—about what the Bible has to say about practical aspects of life. Ann enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, and enjoying the outdoors.

Ann has previously taught a class at Gateway Seminary on Child, Family, and Community as well as breakouts at various conferences. She has written several articles and contributed chapters to several books including, ‘Effective Preschool Education: Early Learning’ in The Christian Homemaker’s Handbook, ‘Children’s Ministry in the New Marriage Culture’ in Ministry in the New Marriage Culture as well as several devotions in various women’s devotionals.

Ann is a graduate of Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science degree and holds a Master of Arts of Educational Leadership degree from Gateway Seminary.
