A Joyful Season of Serving Together

As many of you know, these past several months have been a season of transition for the Montana Southern Baptist Convention. Serving as Co-Interim Executive Director has been a role I never anticipated, and if I am being honest, it turned out to be much more work than I expected! Yet, I can say with complete sincerity that it has also been one of the greatest joys of ministry.

One of the greatest blessings of this season has been the opportunity to spend time with pastors, ministry leaders, and churches across Montana. I have been reminded again and again just how special our convention family truly is. From large communities to small towns, from established churches to new church plants, God is at work through faithful men and women who love Jesus and are committed to reaching Montana for Christ.

I have been encouraged by the heart of our pastors, the generosity of our churches, and the way so many of you continue serving faithfully even when ministry is difficult. You have reminded me that while Montana may be vast in geography, we are deeply connected in mission. We truly are better together.

As I reflect on this season, I am also filled with excitement about what lies ahead. I could not be more thankful for Dr. Mikey Mewborn and the leadership he is bringing to the MTSBC. Mikey has a genuine love for pastors and churches, a heart for evangelism and discipleship, and a vision for helping strengthen our cooperative ministry across the state. I believe his leadership will help us continue building healthy churches, encouraging pastors, and expanding our gospel impact throughout Montana.

The future is bright, not because of any one person, but because God is faithful. I truly believe some of our best days are ahead as we continue working together to reach Montana and beyond with the hope of the Gospel.

Thank you for allowing me the privilege of serving in this role during this important season. It has been an honor, and I look forward with great anticipation to all God has in store for the MTSBC.
