Vision Tour 2020
THE MONTANA VISION TOUR is a two-day experience designed for pastors, church leaders, and potential church planters who are making decisions regarding personal or church involvement in church planting or missions in Montana. While you are here, you will be hosted by a Church Planting Missionary who will help you:
Explore ministry fields in-person to gain a better understanding of what it means to plant healthy churches in Montana.
Meet church planters, experience the challenges they face in their mission field and explore potential partnerships with them.
See priority communities that are in need of churches and planters.
Vision tours are a great way to see God connect people to church planters and Montana communities. They are informative, fun and often sobering times for pastors and leaders who come from afar to get a sense for the lostness and need for the gospel here. They are great times for our planters to share their stories and meet new friends who can make an eternal impact through prayer, service, and support.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE
You will hear demographics, unique characteristics of communities, evangelical presence, and the need for multiplying churches.
You will hear ministry experiences and needs from our Regional Church Starting Missionary, planters who are on the field, and pastors or local churches.

West
Western Montana is known for beautiful mountains, fish-filled streams, scenic drives, and vast opportunities for recreation. Nestled in the mountains of this region, you will find many small communities as well as the larger cities of Kalispell, Missoula, and Butte. For more information on Western Montana and the areas you can expect to tour, contact Church Planting Catalyst, Michael Liner at [email protected].
Central
Central Montana is where the plains meet the rugged Rocky Mountains. Along with numerous small communities, it also encompasses four of the seven largest cities in Montana: Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, and the state capital, Helena. For more information on Central Montana and the areas you can expect to tour, contact Lead Church Planting Catalyst, Lee Merck at [email protected].
East
Eastern Montana is known for its wide-open spaces, large ranches, small rural communities, and vast miles of open road. Towns are often many miles apart and there is a need for churches in each of these small rural towns. For more information on Eastern Montana and the areas you can expect to tour, contact Lead Church Planting Catalyst, Lee Merck at [email protected].
