Christmas is a time to express our gratitude for the greatest gift of all time. As we come into this season, please prayerfully consider an investment in the Kingdom through the Baptist Foundation of Montana to help support Montana Southern Baptist churches and pastors.
Donations to BFM can be cash, stocks or securities, life insurance proceeds, retirement plan assets, real and personal property, or last will and testament distributions. At our board meeting in September, we also approved the use of charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts as donor gift methods. This new option gives donors the opportunity to support Southern Baptist causes while receiving cash distributions and possibly tax deductions or credits, depending on their individual tax situation. We expect this to be a valuable tool for both donors and our foundation.
