A Note from Michael Liner

Dear Montana Southern Baptists,

Nancy and I wanted to send you a quick note of gratitude and to express thanksgiving to our Lord for your support and partnership in ministry over the past decade. Yes, ten years already. Time certainly flies. We have seen The Lord do some wonderful things over the years and have enjoyed and benefitted from being part of the extended faith family called Montana Southern Baptists.

We are transitioning to a new field of ministry across the mountains to the west where I plan to be serving as church planting catalyst for Eastern Washington, Eastern Oregon, and Northern Idaho with Send Northwest (NAMB) beginning July 1. We plan to strategically reside in the Spokane area. It is where Nancy and I moved to almost 32 years ago from Chattanooga, TN, so that I could finish college at Eastern Washington University. Thankfully, we are not totally unfamiliar with the Lilac City and the Inland Northwest.

I am excited for the future of church planting in Montana and in the Northwest, if The Lord continues to tarry His return. There are tremendous opportunities and possibilities on the horizon, and there are plenty of souls in the Rocky Mountain West who need to hear and respond to the Great News of Christ Jesus. It is also my hope that new, edifying relationships will be able to develop between churches across the mountains between the two conventions. I know that there are many gifted churches in the Treasure State who can bless and could be blessed by Northwest churches.

Again, thanks so much for your encouragement, partnership in the Gospel, and prayers. May Jesus continue to bless you beyond measure, using you in wonderful ways to expand His Kingdom spreading His Great News!

What a wonderful privilege it is to write, “See you later, here or with Him!”

Your fellow servants,

Michael and Nancy Liner
