Baptist Foundation of Montana Offers Help

Have you ever experienced something that you know happened with God’s perfect timing? Not long ago, one of our MTSBC churches had a loan with the Baptist Foundation of Montana to remodel their building. They were able to pay it off early. Just a few days later, another one of our churches called to see if they could borrow some money on a short-term basis to pay a contractor who was doing work on their facility. The loan they needed was the exact same amount we had just received from the first church! This is one example of the services that Baptist Foundation of Montana (BFM) offers.

BFM has funds available to loan to our churches – up to $100,000 at a 4% interest rate with 10 years to repay. There also is a small amount of interest-free money available. The loan guidelines and application are available on the Baptist Foundation of Montana page at MTSBC.org. Just click on Resources, then Other Resources.

BFM, along with the Southern Baptist Foundation (SBF) in Nashville, has resources available to help you prepare your will. There is also an option available to contribute to an endowment fund, with the interest earned (currently 4%) going to an SBC church or organization of your choice, such as Yellowstone Christian College. This is a great way to invest in the Kingdom of our Lord until He returns.

If you have any questions, please contact BFM’s Executive Director, Ed Hudson, at 406-698-6639 or [email protected]. You can also contact Margo Mader at [email protected]. We look forward to assisting you and your church!
